Treatment

: Panchakarma - Virechan & basti
Ayurvedic therapies - shirodhara, takradhara, nasyam, urobasti, udwartanam, kizhi
Medication - Ayurvedic classical medication

Diet restriction

: No pickles, curd, cold food, refrigerated food, sweet food, meat & fish, crabs, shellfish, prawn, mackrels

Condition on discharge

: Difficulty in breathing reduced, chest pain reduced, fasting blood sugar from 135 mg/dl reduced to 95 mg/dl, blood pressure regularized to normal 120/70 mmhg, weight reduced from 112 kg to 80 kg, ankle oedema subsided, frequency of urination decreased, stopped injectable insulin, blood glucose level normalized.
