: Joint pain (mainly on left hand with pain along with numbness); pulse 70/min; Bp 140/90 mmhg; motion - usually constipated; urine - normal; tongue - coating; sparsha - ruksha and scaly; drik - atur; akrithi - big; darshan - marks all over body on hands and feet

: Panchakarma - Vaman, Virechan, Raktamokshan & Nasyam
Ayurvedic therapies - Lepam, abhyanga, mardan, powder massage
According to ayurveda psoriasis is compared to more of problem of blood impurities along with skin problems, so in treatment of internal medication blood purifiers have been included.
Shodhan helps to clean out excess of toxins from the body and purify the body. So panchakarma procedures given with preparation of snehan swedan, so vaman, virechan, and raktamokshan was given to purify and clean the channels of the body.
In shaman blood purifiers (herbs) were given along with other medications to help in general improvement of his (new cells development) dhatus.

Diet

: Patient was asked to eat more of vegetarian food and to avoid alcohol, red meat, fish, coffee, too spicy food

Condition on discharge

: The patient was under our medication for a period of 1 month and he has got a good relief and his psoriasis was 80-90% better. On discharge he was asked to continue with healthy food and medications for some months to improve his condition
